Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Paradosis handles information on paradosis.shop, during Shopify checkout, and through the services that support the storefront.
Information we collect
When you browse the storefront, technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and approximate location may be processed in server logs and non-essential measurement tools. The storefront stores a cart identifier, cart contents, interface state, and your privacy choices in browser storage.
If you join the launch email list, we collect the email address you submit. If you place an order, Shopify collects the contact, delivery, order, and payment information required for checkout. Paradosis does not build or operate its own payment form and does not receive your full payment-card details.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information, order details, and photographs you choose to send.
How we use information
- provide the storefront, cart, checkout, and order support;
- produce, ship, and resolve problems with orders;
- send the email you requested and manage that subscription;
- protect the storefront and diagnose technical problems; and
- measure visits and advertising when your choices allow it.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the Next.js storefront. Shopify supplies catalog and cart services and hosts checkout, payment, tax, and order processing. Klaviyo receives email addresses submitted through the launch form and delivers those messages. Meta receives Pixel events when advertising measurement is enabled. Production, shipping, email, and infrastructure providers process information needed to perform their services.
These providers have their own privacy practices. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where they operate. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Analytics, advertising, and your choices
Paradosis uses an opt-out model rather than a first-visit consent banner. Meta Pixel may load by default and can receive page-view and commerce events. Depending on applicable law, this can be considered sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
Use “Your privacy choices” in the footer to disable non-essential analytics and advertising. The choice is saved in your browser and prevents Meta Pixel from loading on later pages and visits. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load Meta Pixel automatically. Clearing browser storage may remove a saved choice, but Global Privacy Control will continue to apply while enabled.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the uses described here, including order support, legal, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute-resolution needs. Browser cart and preference data remain on your device until they expire or you clear them. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to limit certain uses. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email hello@paradosis.shop. We may need to verify the request before responding. Marketing email also includes an unsubscribe method.
Children and changes
The storefront is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the storefront or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
